It’s an exciting time with the business well positioned for growth and seeking a Marketing and Communications Officer to join our team. You would ultimately be responsible for
Purpose of Role:
- This key position in our small but growing team is responsible for enhancing the brand and reputation of The Wellbeing Food Co, supporting sales to grow our childcare centre customer base, and developing communications and resources that assist and add value to our customers.
- Reporting to the Head of Customer and Nutrition, the position will be responsible for managing, developing and implementing our program of marketing, communication and advertising activities, and helping to grow The Wellbeing Food Co business through successful customer acquisition and retention strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage The Wellbeing Food Co.’s marketing and communication program, including but not limited to: social media; digital content, marketing, and advertising (including SEO and SEM); customer communications (e.g., e-newsletters); industry participation (e.g., conferences and events) and advertising; photography and videography; public relations; and industry editorials.
- Copywrite and develop all types of content and communication, including but not limited to: social media posts, reels, and stories; blog articles; customer presentations; webinars; case studies; downloads, tools, guides, and resources; brochures; exhibit materials and banners; surveys; infographics; FAQs; proposals; and e-newsletters, etc.
- Continue to develop and improve The Wellbeing Food Co.’s key marketing and communication channels, including the website, social media, and marketing automation—keeping channels up-to-date, dynamic, and with a regular rhythm of new content and campaigns.
- Develop sales collateral, proposals, and presentations to support the sales team in targeting segmented, niche markets, and implement regular sales lead generation campaigns.
- Develop customer resources and educational materials to add value to customers, aligned with WFC’s commitment to nutrition and wellbeing.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor degree qualified in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related field.
- 3+ years of firsthand experience in Marketing and Communication with experience in B2B marketing highly desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for digital and traditional marketing channels.
- Proven ability to plan, execute, and manage various initiatives including experience in coordinating and implementing sales lead generation, marketing and customer communication programs.
- Demonstrated experience working with customer relationship management, marketing automation systems and design programs such as Canva or Indesign.
- Familiarity with data analysis and metrics to assess the effectiveness of marketing and communications initiatives.
- Proactive and solutions driven.
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and budgetary limitations.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, calmly under pressure, multitask and prioritise.
