Job Description
This role involves front-end development on both Sitecore and WordPress websites, applying and managing tagging, tracking and analytics capabilities. The role will work closely with other team members to optimise our websites, ensuring they meet user needs and organisational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Update website content for multiple brands and provide support to
other team members using website CMS
- Provide front-end development and maintenance support to Marketing to help
execute the digital strategy
- Troubleshoot issues and report technical problems to development agency for
further investigation and solutions
- Ensure appropriate analytics and tracking is in place and working for all websites
and digital marketing campaigns
- In conjunction with marketing and digital team members, create engaging
landing pages, user journeys, and functional improvements to websites.
- Contribute to the digital product strategy and execution, including roadmaps for
each of the clients owned digital assets
- Help create, prioritise and maintain product backlogs, including defining release
and sprint goals and user acceptance criteria
- Contribute to ongoing, iterative product improvements by managing changes,
fixes (bugs/defects), test and learn, and optimisation strategies
- Collaborate with UX and Digital Marketing Specialists as well as agency partners
to apply analytics and competitor research.
What you will bring the role
- 2-3 years’ experience in front-end website development, Product Owner, digital
delivery, or e-commerce positions in customer focused organisations
- Solid experience with HTML, CSS and Bootstrap and a good understanding of
JavaScript
- Qualifications in e-Commerce/Marketing/Business/Information Science or
similar, or commensurate industry experience
- Practical experience and exposure to the technical process of developing web
applications
- Practical experience with e-commerce systems and CMS platforms (Sitecore and
WordPress preferred)
- Experience with project management tools (e.g. Asana, Jira, Confluence, Trello)
- Experience with methods for capturing and documenting user requirements and
user stories
- Strong project management skills, focussed on time management, prioritisation,
quality control and risk management
- Understanding of Agile methodology, including scrum concepts
- Demonstrated stakeholder management skills, with ability to elicit and articulate
stakeholder requirements
- Design Thinking knowledge to manage ill-defined problems.
