A growing Brisbane-based B2B marketing consultancy is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to lead strategy development and execution across a portfolio of clients operating in complex, technical industries.
Working with organisations in sectors such as mining, engineering, technology, manufacturing and healthcare, you'll help translate highly technical products and services into compelling brands, messaging and marketing programs that generate measurable commercial outcomes.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with execution. You'll oversee marketing programs from research and planning through to implementation, measurement and optimisation, while coordinating internal specialists and external contractors to ensure every project delivers against agreed objectives.
The business takes a strategy-first approach to marketing, prioritising research, commercial thinking and measurable outcomes over activity for activity's sake. They're looking for someone who shares that philosophy and enjoys becoming a trusted extension of their clients' teams.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Research
- Conduct market, competitor and stakeholder research to inform positioning, messaging and campaign development.
- Develop brand strategies, value propositions and messaging frameworks for complex B2B organisations.
- Translate client business objectives into practical, measurable marketing plans.
Campaign Planning & Delivery
- Own client marketing programs from strategy through to implementation and reporting.
- Manage multiple projects, timelines, budgets and deliverables simultaneously.
- Coordinate internal specialists and external contractors including designers, developers, writers and paid media partners.
- Monitor campaign performance and continuously optimise activity against agreed KPIs.
Content & Channel Management
- Develop content strategies and oversee content production across multiple channels.
- Plan and manage social media activity aligned with broader marketing objectives.
- Guide website strategy, user experience and messaging improvements while coordinating implementation.
- Plan and manage integrated marketing campaigns across digital, organic, email marketing and account-based marketing initiatives.
Marketing Systems & Reporting
- Utilise CRM and marketing automation platforms to support campaign delivery and lead nurturing.
- Develop reporting frameworks that demonstrate commercial impact rather than simply reporting activity.
- Provide clients with clear, actionable insights and recommendations based on campaign performance.
About You
- Approximately 4–7 years' marketing experience with exposure to both strategy and implementation.
- Experience marketing complex B2B products or services within industries such as engineering, mining, manufacturing, technology, healthcare, professional services or similarly technical sectors.
- Strong understanding across the marketing mix including brand strategy, messaging, research, content, digital marketing, websites, social media and CRM.
- Confident managing multiple client relationships while coordinating internal teams and external suppliers.
- Commercially minded, with the ability to connect marketing activity to measurable business outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to present recommendations and build trusted client relationships.
- Highly organised, self-motivated and comfortable working within a remote-first environment.
Desirable Experience
- Previous agency or multi-client experience.
- Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot or GoHighLevel.
- Exposure to Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies and campaigns.
Engagement Details
- Part-time engagement (approximately 3–4 days per week), with flexibility for the right candidate.
- Primarily remote, with occasional in-person collaboration in Brisbane.
