Social Media & Digital Specialist

Our Client is looking for a Social Media & Digital Marketing Specialist 2-3 days per week ongoing.

Job Description

Responsibility Statement: 

  • As the Social Media and Content Specialist, you’ll assist in the operations, growth and transformation of Luv Bridal and  Formal and related brands (e.g., Madi Lane, Evie Young, Milane Collective and the unreleased brand) by championing social  media management and content; to support the implementation and execution of the overarching marketing strategy. 


Duties include but not limited to (Planning & Execution): 

  • Management of assigned company social media platforms, which includes posting content daily I.e., posts,  stories, reels, TikTok's and new media as required etc. 
  • Planning and managing in-studio and on location photo shoots (including campaign shoots – when requested). This includes (but is not limited to) developing run sheets and mood boards, securing locations, props, dress  loans, booking models/influencers, makeup artists, hair stylists, photographers and videographers. 
  • Utilising company technology, garments and spaces to photograph/film and unique and creative brand assets. • Capturing and editing video and photo footage (including BTS) for social media and digital platforms. • Building and managing all content libraries (including real brides). 
  • Planning, creating, scheduling and captioning content in advance, according to the social media plan, budget and  in collaboration with the wider marketing team. 
  • Developing, executing and managing the paid advertising strategy (in-house/agency). This may include working in  cooperation with a digital advertising agency to ensure all paid digital ads are utilising current and proven strong  content. 
  • Liaising and supporting all related external agencies. Ensuring clear communication and efficient work  relationships. 
  • Keeping up to date on competitor activity and local market conditions, to identify trends and opportunities to  enhance brand performance. 
  • Understanding, identifying insights and reporting on social media data analytics to inform strategic decisions and  tailoring content for different platforms. 
  • Establishing a stronger brand presence on TikTok, LinkedIn, and, Pinterest. 
  • Working alongside the in-house Fashion Stylist to create first class educational videos on current and past  collections.
  • Featuring in content (including front of camera/to-camera deliverables) for company owned and paid social  media and digital platforms – when requested. 
  • Utilising customer Instagram images to incorporate “real brides” onto company social media accounts and blog. • Driving and managing earned and paid media opportunities with influencers and opinion leaders to secure  collaborations and user generated content.  
  • Responsive customer service (including emails) and community management of assigned company social media  platforms; such as prompt audience engagement and replying to inquiries. 
  • Continuously developing knowledge of competitor activity and local market conditions, to identify trends and  make suggestions to improve and enhance product performance to drive brand achievement. • Sharing any key knowledge and understanding of company activity to directors/managers as required. • Supporting the delivery of all marketing campaigns and ensure effective network of communication between  wider Marketing team and head office.
  • Attending any key events (as required). This includes involvement in planning/production. • Any other reasonable duties as requested by the Employer to support the Digital Marketing Manager, Marketing  Manager and Creative Director. 
  • Responsibilities will be reviewed at a six-month review.
