Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic communications plan that aligns with business objectives and drives brand awareness and engagement.
• Lead the creation of high-impact communications content, including thought leadership pieces, press releases, articles, speeches, and digital content.
• Collaborate closely with senior leadership to craft compelling narratives that resonate with target audiences and reinforce the brand’s positioning.
• Manage media relations efforts, including pitching stories, organising interviews, and fostering strong relationships with journalists and influencers.
• Oversee internal communications to ensure clear, consistent messaging across all levels of the organisation, fostering a strong and cohesive corporate culture.
• Analyse and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies, using insights to continuously refine and improve tactics.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for proactive media engagement and strategic positioning.
• Ensure all communications uphold the brand’s voice and values, maintaining a high standard of quality and consistency.
• Champion innovation in communications practices, staying ahead of emerging trends and technologies to enhance engagement and reach.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and work health and safety requirements.

Qualifications:

Essential:

• At least 7 years of experience in strategic communications or a related field.
• Strong track record of developing and executing successful communications strategies that drive results.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for crafting compelling narratives and engaging content.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with media and key stakeholders.
• Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Desirable:

• Experience in a senior communications role within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Degree qualified in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
