- Role: Senior Marketing Manager (Fractional Contract)
- Hours: 1 – 2 Days per Week (with potential to scale up)
- Salary Range: Approx. $750 per day
About the Company
A fast-growing Australian business with strong foundations in both B2B and consumer markets. In recent years, the organisation has undergone a strategic repositioning, leadership restructure, and investment in digital capability to support future expansion.
The brand has a strong reputation; however, overall market awareness remains limited. Before accelerating marketing spend, the priority is to build robust digital and marketing infrastructure that will enable long-term scalable growth.
Job Overview
The Senior Marketing Manager will establish the foundational marketing capability and deliver measurable growth through a mix of strategy and execution. The initial focus will involve a full review of current activity and customer journeys, followed by the development of a 12-month marketing enablement roadmap. Over the next few months, key digital workstreams will be implemented to set the stage for larger-scale campaigns.
This opportunity is suited to an experienced marketer who thrives in growth environments, capable of proactively leading strategy while remaining hands-on in execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a comprehensive audit of current marketing activity and customer journeys.
- Develop and deliver a 12-month marketing enablement roadmap aligned with growth objectives.
- Establish and manage campaign calendars across multiple customer segments.
- Implement SEO optimisation, website improvements, and paid media campaigns to increase visibility and lead generation.
- Design and execute social media strategies, remarketing activity, and cross-platform consistency.
- Build and execute content pillars across social, email, and SMS channels.
- Develop and manage sales team enablement tools (playbooks, collateral, automation support).
- Create dashboards to track performance against growth objectives.
- Align marketing activity with CRM and automation initiatives.
- Develop repeatable playbooks and processes to support scalability.
Who Should Apply?
Applications are encouraged from marketing professionals with:
- Minimum 5 years in senior marketing management, growth, or digital strategy roles.
- Demonstrated success managing end-to-end campaigns across SEO, SEM, paid social, lifecycle marketing, and social media.
- Strong capability in data and analytics, with a focus on ROI.
- Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation tools (preferred).
- Experience working in fast-paced, growth-stage, or lean environments.
- Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills.
- A proactive approach, with the ability to lead and shape marketing direction.
