The organisation is seeking specialist expertise to support technical excellence, performance improvement and ongoing optimisation across its digital portfolio, with a strong focus on scalability, quality and measurable outcomes.
The Opportunity
An experienced SEO Specialist is required for a 6-month remote contract to lead technical SEO, on-page optimisation, content recommendations, page speed improvements and ongoing SEO maintenance across a multi-site, multi-region digital environment.
This role is delivery-focused, with a strong emphasis on implementation and prioritisation rather than repeated auditing. You will work closely with internal teams to drive measurable improvements in organic performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical SEO audits with a focus on fixing, prioritisation and implementation
- Improve organic search visibility, rankings and CTR across priority websites
- Optimise page speed and Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP)
- Conduct keyword research, mapping and competitor analysis
- Deliver on-page optimisation including metadata, headings and structural improvements
- Write short-form SEO copy such as titles, meta descriptions, CTAs and page intros
- Provide content recommendations for longer-form content in collaboration with internal teams
- Create, maintain and troubleshoot XML sitemaps and indexation health
- Implement and validate structured data / schema markup
- Support SEO setup for new website builds, including URL mapping, redirects and pre- and post-launch QA
- Monitor GA4 and Google Search Console data to inform prioritisation and reporting
- Manage SEO tasks and workflows using Asana
About You
- Proven experience in technical and on-page SEO across complex, multi-site environments
- Strong track record improving page speed and Core Web Vitals
- Hands-on experience with GA4, Google Search Console, SEMrush and Screaming Frog
- Solid understanding of structured data, schema markup and sitemap optimisation
- Experience working across multiple regions and search markets
- Highly organised, implementation-focused and comfortable working in fast-paced environments
- Confident collaborating with web, content and development teams
