Fractional CMO – Revenue & Dealer Growth | Newcastle, NSW | Part-Time | Automotive Aftermarket

Fractional CMO role driving revenue, dealer growth and pipeline in a fast-growing Australian automotive aftermarket business. Results-focused, hands-on, part-time.

Job Description

A fast-growing Australian automotive aftermarket business based in Newcastle, NSW, with annual revenue approaching $10M and a defined growth pathway to $18M+. The business operates across dealer, trade, and direct-to-consumer channels, with a strong product reputation and established trade relationships nationwide.

To support the next phase of growth, an experienced Fractional CMO is required to join the leadership team and build a predictable, scalable growth engine across dealer networks, trade partners, and direct channels.

This is not a brand awareness role.

The focus is commercial growth, pipeline development, and revenue outcomes.

The Role

This is a hands-on strategic leadership role working closely with the senior leadership team to design and execute a marketing strategy that delivers measurable revenue growth.

The role is responsible for building and driving the systems, campaigns, and channel programs that increase demand, expand the dealer network, improve sell-through, and strengthen performance tracking across the business.

Performance is measured on outcomes and results.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Revenue Growth & Strategy

  • Own and execute a growth-focused marketing strategy aligned to revenue targets
  • Drive measurable revenue growth across direct-to-consumer and dealer/trade channels
  • Build and implement a structured plan to support growth from $10M to $18M+

Dealer Network & Trade Growth

  • Drive dealer demand generation and support dealer sell-through
  • Design and execute dealer acquisition and onboarding campaigns
  • Strengthen channel partner relationships through co-marketing and trade support programs
  • Develop trade promotions, incentives, and campaign frameworks that drive product movement

HubSpot, Pipeline & Reporting

  • Optimise HubSpot CRM to improve pipeline visibility, lead nurturing, automation, and attribution
  • Build clear reporting dashboards tied to pipeline and revenue performance
  • Deliver consistent, practical reporting to leadership on ROI, conversion, and channel performance

Execution & Campaign Management

  • Build and manage an integrated marketing calendar across digital, trade, product, and brand activity
  • Coordinate agencies, freelancers, and internal resources as required
  • Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, on budget, and with clear commercial intent

Sales Enablement

  • Create or enhance sales tools that improve conversion, including dealer packs, catalogues, product training assets, trade collateral, and promotional kits
  • Ensure dealers and partners are equipped to confidently sell products

What We’re Looking For

This role suits a commercially minded marketing leader with a strong understanding of growth and revenue dynamics.

Key requirements include:

  • Proven experience in a senior marketing leadership role (CMO, Head of Growth, or Marketing Director)
  • Strong background in B2B, wholesale, dealer networks, or multi-channel distribution
  • High competence with HubSpot and CRM-driven pipeline systems
  • Strategic capability combined with hands-on execution
  • Strong commercial judgement and accountability for performance metrics
  • Clear, direct communication and the ability to translate marketing into measurable outcomes
  • Experience scaling businesses in the $5M–$20M revenue range (highly regarded)

What Success Looks Like

Within the first 3–6 months:

  • A clear growth plan with defined, measurable targets in place
  • Improved HubSpot structure, attribution, and reporting
  • Stronger dealer support programs and structured trade marketing activity
  • Measurable uplift in pipeline quality, lead conversion, and revenue contribution

This role is measured on results, not activity.

About the Business

This opportunity offers the ability to make a tangible commercial impact in a growing business, without corporate bureaucracy or unnecessary red tape.
