About the Opportunity

A well-established national services brand with a marketing budget of $4M+ is seeking an experienced Fractional CMO to lead its marketing strategy and execution.

This is not a purely advisory role. The client needs a hands-on marketing leader who can both shape strategy and roll up their sleeves to implement it - with a particular focus on media strategy and buying across traditional and digital channels.

The engagement is flexible - full-time is not required. A part-time or fractional arrangement is actively preferred, making this an ideal opportunity for a senior marketer who values autonomy and variety.

The Role

Reporting to senior leadership, you will:

  • Develop and own the overall marketing strategy for a national brand
  • Lead and manage media planning and buying across TV, radio, digital and other relevant channels
  • Provide independent, expert counsel on media investment - not just oversight
  • Translate strategy into execution, driving campaigns end-to-end
  • Act as an independent media strategist, offering a point of view unencumbered by agency bias
  • Work collaboratively with existing agency partners to ensure integrated delivery

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of senior marketing experience, with demonstrable media buying expertise
  • Strong background in digital, social and traditional channels
  • Experience working with national or multi-location brands
  • A doer - someone who leads from the front and implements, not just advises
  • Comfortable operating in a fractional or consulting capacity
  • Agency background highly regarded
  • Must be Perth-based

Remuneration
