The platform integrates contractors and suppliers in one streamlined workflow, reducing manual processes, phone calls, invoice errors, and overpayments. With current development underway and targeted integrations being built for ERP systems, the business is ready to establish a structured marketing foundation ahead of launch.
The Opportunity:
This role offers the chance to lead and shape the marketing strategy for a construction-tech platform on the verge of release. Ideal for a senior marketing leader with strong B2B and SaaS experience, this position focuses on refining messaging, creating a clear value proposition, and building a scalable marketing engine that supports pilot rollouts and full deployment. With contractors often hesitant to adopt new technology, the role requires a marketing expert who can translate complex operational problems into compelling, relatable benefits for trade contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a clear and compelling value proposition tailored to trade contractors and suppliers
- Build a complete go-to-market strategy for an early-stage construction-tech platform
- Establish marketing processes, systems, and frameworks for long-term scalability
- Map the customer journey from initial contact to full implementation
- Support pilot testing communications and workflow mapping activities
- Create messaging that simplifies technical ERP integrations and operational efficiencies
- Produce content that overcomes industry resistance to adopting new systems
- Collaborate with founders across time zones to align on delivery and timelines
- Provide insights on competitor positioning and market trends in the construction sector
About You:
- Experienced in B2B marketing within SaaS, construction tech, procurement, or workflow platforms
- Skilled in developing marketing strategies for early-stage or pre-launch software
- Strong ability to translate technical features into operational and financial benefits
- Confident in building processes from the ground up
- Familiar with long sales cycles and trust-driven industries
- Able to communicate clearly with stakeholders who rely on traditional methods such as spreadsheets, emails, and calls
- Comfortable working in a fractional or contract-based CMO capacity
