An established Australian ecommerce business is seeking a strategic marketing leader to centralise marketing efforts, remove inefficiencies, and drive profitability. With multiple external agencies currently managing different aspects of marketing, the focus is on consolidating efforts under one expert to maximise return on investment.
Job Overview:
This role is ideal for an experienced ecommerce marketing professional with a strong understanding of the Australian market. The business requires a strategic thinker who can assess the current marketing landscape, identify inefficiencies, and implement a cohesive strategy tailored for the local audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all marketing channels, including Google, Meta, Klaviyo, SEO, and organic traffic.
- Develop and implement a profitability-driven marketing strategy suited for Australian consumers.
- Reduce reliance on external agencies by bringing key functions in-house.
- Scale back ad spend strategically while maintaining or increasing sales performance.
- Improve attribution across all channels to better measure marketing effectiveness.
- Provide hands-on support where necessary.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to streamline marketing operations.
- Ensure alignment between marketing efforts and business objectives.
- Work onsite at the Tuggerah office at least 1-2 days per week.
