Overview
Joining Cemoh as a marketing consultant connects you with businesses looking for your expertise. The application process involves a multi-step form followed by a review from the Cemoh team.
Step 1: Start Your Application
From the sign up page, click Apply to become a Cemoh here at the bottom of the form. This takes you to the consultant application wizard.
Step 2: Complete the Application
The application is a 3-step wizard:
Step 1 — Your Details:
- Email address
- First name
- Last name
Step 2 — Professional Information:
- Phone number
- Company name (optional)
- Tax number / ABN (optional)
- Address (with Google Maps location lookup)
- Role type — your primary marketing speciality
- Skills — your marketing skills
- Industries — industries you have experience in
Step 3 — Application Submission:
Review and submit your application.
Step 3: Application Review
The Cemoh team reviews all consultant applications to ensure quality. You'll receive an email with an application agreement once your profile has been reviewed.
Step 4: Complete Your Profile
Once approved, log in and go to Settings > Profile to flesh out your profile:
- Avatar — Upload a professional headshot
- Headline — Write a professional headline (e.g., "Senior Digital Marketing Strategist")
- Bio — Write a compelling description of your experience and approach
- Skills — Refine your marketing skills (SEO, PPC, content, social media, etc.)
- Industries — Update the industries you have experience in
- Software — List the marketing tools you're proficient with
- Experience — Add your work history
- Qualifications — Add relevant certifications and education
- Availability — Set which days you're available for work
- Location — Update your address so clients can find you by location
Step 5: Set Your Visibility
In your profile settings, toggle Visibility to control whether you appear in search results. Keep this on if you're actively looking for work.
What's Next?
With your profile complete, clients can find you through the Consultant Finder. You can also:
- Create quotes for potential clients
- Manage your schedule and sessions
- Track payments and invoicing
